Tong, is originally from Albuquerque, NM. His family immigrated there in the mid 80's and has resided there for over 30 years. His parents once owned a restaurant called Teriyaki Sakura on Juan Tabo Blvd specializing in Japanese and Chinese cuisine. At the age of 10, he began to learn about work ethics, business finance, back and front of the house operations, quality control, and customer service.







Tong attended Highland High School in 2000 and graduated in 2004. He was a talented musician in the concert band, marching band and jazz band. His role in the band include the title of Section Leader and Drum Major.





Tong attended the University of New Mexico from 2004 - 2009 earning a BA in Biology. He worked two jobs to support himself through college and was a member of AFROTC Det 510 during his junior year.






After receiving his Bachelor's, Tong enlisted in the US Army as an Officer Candidate in Oct of 2010. He attended basic training in Ft. Jackson, SC and Officer Candidate School in Ft. Benning, GA. After commissioning as a 2nd Lieutenant, he underwent further training as Field Artillery Officer. His first duty station was at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM, WA) where he was immediately deployed to Jordan as a military advisor with 1-94 FAR. Upon completing his deployment, he was assigned to a HIMARS Platoon as a Platoon Leader overseeing soldiers and government property valued at over $250 millions dollars. Tong was promoted to 1st Lieutenant and given the positon of Executive Officer overseeing a Rear Detachment. He separated from the US Army in 2014 and served in the IRR for the remaing 4 years of his military obligation.






Tong Savath is a recent BAS Computer Science graduate from Renton Technical College located in Renton, WA. He specializes in application and responsive web development for individual and ecommerce functionality.
